WHAT IS BOTOX®?

Like any cosmetic treatment, an initial consultation is first required in order to develop a treatment plan tailored to the specific needs and expectations of each patient. If you are unhappy with aging flaws within your complexion and are searching for a safe and simple solution for younger-looking skin, you could benefit from treatments. You should see a marked improvement within a few days.

BOTOX® Cosmetic targets one of the underlying causes of frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines — the repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, smiling, and raising the eyebrows over the years. Our NP will inject these muscles with BOTOX® Cosmetic to temporarily reduce muscle activity. You will begin to notice a visible smoothing of the frown lines between your brows, your crow’s feet lines, and your forehead lines.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Discomfort from a BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment is minimal and brief. Most patients compare the sensation to a pinprick. You may resume normal activity immediately but refrain from exercising or laying down for four hours after the treatment. You should see a marked improvement within a few days. Results can last up to four months, although results may vary. You will be provided with detailed pre- and post-procedural instructions prior to your injections.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

DERMAL FILLERS

Like any cosmetic treatment, an initial consultation is first required in order to develop a treatment plan tailored to the specific needs and expectations of each patient.

Have age lines become more and more prominent in your skin? Do you find yourself wishing for more volume in your lips? While a very natural part of aging, fine lines and volume loss can affect self-confidence and may even make you appear older than you actually are. Dermal Filler treatments can specifically improve the appearance of facial wrinkling and add volume to the lips without compromising your facial expressions.

Our team will meet with you, discuss your personal aesthetic goals, and help you regain younger-looking skin.

WHAT ARE DERMAL FILLERS?

Dermal Fillers (Hyaluronic Acid or HA) is a substance that naturally occurs in the body's connective tissue to help provide structure and maintain plumpness and hydration. HA dermal filler is a gel-like substance that temporarily enhances the appearance of facial structures by adding volume and hydration.

These treatments are minimally invasive, meaning there are no required incisions, only the administration of the formula through a very fine needle beneath the surface of the skin. While they may not be able to correct sagging skin, dermal fillers can replenish facial volume lost as a result of aging to restore youthfulness to your profile.

HOW SOON CAN I EXPECT RESULTS?

Many of our patients have been able to see immediate results of plumper skin and lips following their dermal filler appointment.

OUR MISSION

We have one goal in mind: the health and rejuvenation of your skin. Our Nurse Practitioner will work with you to develop an individualized treatment regimen tailored to your personal needs.

PLATELET-RICH PLASMA (PRP) FACELIFT

Platelet-Rich Plasma or PRP is an autologous concentrated preparation of platelets and the associated growth factors in a small volume of plasma. Platelets are a natural source of a number of growth factors in their natural and biologically-determined ratios.

HOW DO PRP INJECTIONS WORK?

PRP therapy uses injections of concentrated platelets and plasma of the patient’s own blood to naturally enhance the healing process of the damaged cells. The blood’s platelets contain proteins and other growth factors needed to accelerate the cell’s healing process.

For PRP injections to work our NP will draw the patient’s blood using a PRP kit then place the collected blood into a centrifuge. The centrifuge will spin the PRP separating the red blood cells from the platelet-rich plasma. The medical professional will then extract the PRP from the PRP tube and inject the platelets into the targeted area.

WHAT IS A PRP FACIAL?

A PRP facial is otherwise known as a “PRP blood facial” is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment designed to make your face look healthier and more youthful. This procedure uses platelet-rich plasma to exploit your skin's natural rejuvenation process.

WHAT DOES A PRP FACIAL INVOLVE?

A PRP facial is not something you can do at home. It has to be conducted by a trained medical professional in a medical setting. Patients will see improvements in their first sitting but many recommend going every 4-6 weeks. PRP facial rejuvenation targets individuals who are looking for a natural treatment to improve acne scarring, crow’s feet, reduce fine lines and more.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A PRP FACIAL?

  • Minimize acne scars
  • Treat crow’s feet
  • Enhance skin tone, texture, and quality
  • Reduce fine lines and blemishes
  • Replace volume loss and increases collagen
  • Reduces sun damage
  • Increase skin elasticity

PRF (PLATELET-RICH RIBRIN) TREATMENTS

PRF stands for platelet-rich fibrin. PRF is considered the second generation to platelet-rich plasma (PRP). PRF uses the patient’s blood to get platelets, white blood cells, fibrin, and mesenchymal stem cells. PRF provides a slow release of the growth factors that are measured in days not hours like PRP. This all-natural treatment is used for many procedures, such as cosmetic rejuvenation, joint pain, hair restoration, and dental implants.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PRP AND PRF?

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) may look very similar, as both procedures treat the same type of regenerative applications, however, there are some clear differences in the two.  A PRF Tube does not contain any additives.  PRF is spun at much slower speeds than PRP which creates a fibrin matrix.  PRF is more focused on the growth factors from the white blood cells. The growth factors in PRF release slowly over time after injections compared to PRP.  Chat with one of our specialists to find out which non-surgical treatment is best for your practice.
